100g S.R. Flour
1 rasher bacon
small piece onion
small piece of pepper
5ml tomato puree
pinch mixed herbs
1 x15ml spoons milk
1x 5ml oil
REMEMBER – CLEAN AS YOU GO.
Set oven to 180°C or gas mark 5
Grease baking tray.
Put milk to the tomato puree into a jug add the egg and mix well. Leave aside.
Dice the vegetables and snip the bacon into dice and stir fry with oil for 5minutes. Leave aside.
Grate the cheese.
Measure the flour and sieve into a large bowl.
Add margarine and rub into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs.
Stir in the mixed herbs.
Stir the Vegetables and bacon and grated cheese to the flour.
Mix the egg mixture to the flour and mix to a stiff dough.
Place in even sized spoonfuls onto baking tray and bake until golden brown.
Cool on cooling tray.
