Higher:
The Higher course further encourages learners to take responsibility for their own learning, and provides the opportunity for more in depth study of musical styles and a higher level of performance.
There are 3 main areas of study: Composing Skills, Performing Skills, and Understanding Music.

The Higher course award requires completion of an external exam on both instruments, a composing assignment which is externally marked, and a question paper in the normal diet of exams.
